Bluebird Hills Farm has been raising alpacas since 1997. We take great pride in the quality of our herd and the excellent buyer support we provide. We repeatedly prove the quality of our breeding program by taking home ribbons at major shows and strive to integrate outstanding genetics from many areas of the country, "breeding up" our alpacas. We invite you to visit our farm whether you are an experienced breeder, or brand new to alpacas.

Laurel has been involved in the fiber arts for most of her life, weaving, spinning, and knitting. She also has practiced medicine as a Physician Assistant and loves combining these two passions into the care and breeding of alpacas. She has served nationally as a member of the Great Lakes Alpaca Association Board of Directors and as editor of the Alpaca Registry Newsletter.

She has now started the AOBA apprenticeship program to move through yet another door that this fascinating industry has to offer. It is a long and demanding course of training, but will be a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the alpaca and its incredible fiber.
