After 4 years of learning about alpacas and visiting alpaca farms in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky, we finally decided to invest in our own alpacas. A close knit family, we operate 2 farms in Southwest Ohio, about 20 miles north of Cincinnati. Our farm has been in the family for many years dating back to the middle of the nineteenth century. We needed something to supplement our income, and so Mary and Sally Francis- with the help of their father John- bought two bred huacaya females in April of 2003.

Situated on the corner of Route 126 and Morgan Ross road we found the inspiration for our farm name, Alpaca Corner. In addition to their alpaca business Mary and Sally Francis own and operate the Periwinkle House in the nearby village of Shandon, where they sell alpaca yarn, various alpaca items, as well as antiques and gift items.

John has been retired from the banking business for many years and helps with the alpacas. We would love to have you visit our Alpaca Corner, but please call first, so that one of us can be sure to meet you and introduce you to our alpacas.
