The Southwest Ohio Alpaca Breeders thank you for visiting our webpages! We are small group of alpaca breeders in Southwestern Ohio that have been meeting together informally for the last 8 years.

In 2006 we decided to formalize our group so that we could pool our energies and talents to educate ourselves, educate the public, and market our alpacas and alpaca products. Our new organization, SWOAB (South West Ohio Alpaca Breeders), began to take shape and is still evolving to meet the needs of our members as well as the needs of future alpaca owners in our area. We have committed ourselves to the following Mission Statement:

OUR MISSION IS TO SUPPORT MEMBERS WITH ALPACA EDUCATION, HUSBANDRY, AND MARKETING, AND TO INCREASE PUBLIC AWARENESS OF ALPACA AND ALPACA PRODUCTS.
